I have traveled with my cousin and family on this discount. It was a great deal on both rooms and park tickets. We called it the $100 vacation. Rooms were less than $100, tickets (at the time) were $98, we used miles for airline, and this is the first time we had done dining plan (also discounted). It is one of my favorite trips because we were able to travel with a couple and children the same ages. It was so much fun to see them and everyone was on the same page for dining, characters and rides. Even if you are not military, you can travel with someone who is active or retired and get the room discount if they book the rooms. They can purchase up tp 6 tickets and you can purchase additional at the normal rack rate as needed.
